For 2008, the AJGO awarded (2) $500 college scholarships to 2008 AJGO Members that were entering college freshmen during Fall 2008.

2008 AJGO College Scholarship Recipients

Josh Carroll Josh received the AJGO $500 Freshman College Scholarship. Josh is attending Faulkner State. The AJGO College Scholarship recipients were selected independently by the Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation. The $500 AJGO Freshman College Scholarship was deposited directly into Josh's Bursars Account at Faulkner State to assist in tuition, fees and other college expenses. Best of luck, Josh, in your college career!

Jon Thad Rodgers Jon Thad received the Dixie Section PGA $500 Freshman College Scholarship. Jon Thad attends Jacksonville State University. The AJGO College Scholarship recipients were selected independently by the Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation. The Dixie Section PGA $500 Freshman College Scholarship was deposited directly into Jon Thad's Bursars Account at Jacksonville State University to assist in tuition, fees and other college expenses. The recipients of the 2008 AJGO College Scholarships were announced at the AJGO Summer Tour Championship at Point Mallard Golf Club in Decatur, Alabama on September 14, 2008 during the Championship Award Ceremony.

The AJGO is working with the Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation to make the selection for our college scholarships. We would encourage you to visit the Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation website to find out about other scholarship and grant opportunities that they have available.

For 2009, The AJGO will announce the college scholarships it will be awarding to AJGO Members who are entering college freshmen during the Fall of 2009.

Completed 2009 AJGO College Scholarship Application must be received at the AJGO address on the application by June 15, 2009.

Make sure that you have included with the completed signed application:
(1) one (1) page typed original personal letter or essay giving reasons for applying,
(2) two (2) signed current letters of recommendation,
(3) your most recent original certified transcript & school’s grading system
(Your school will send your official transcript directly to the AJGO mailing address.)
